Lecher\u00eda regional: monitor de precios relativos de la producci\u00f3n lechera<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aqu\u00ed presentamos peri\u00f3dicamente la evoluci\u00f3n del precio de la leche al productor y los principales insumos que afectan la lecher\u00eda en Argentina, Brasil, Chile y Uruguay. En \u00e9ste monitor regional seguimos la evoluci\u00f3n de los precios relativos de insumos claves que afectan la actividad de producci\u00f3n lechera en la regi\u00f3n como es el\u00a0Corn<\/strong>\u00a0(the thermometer features food that takes more than 50% of the direct costs), the\u00a0Diesel<\/strong>\u00a0(impacts minimally on a 15% on cost of production), the\u00a0Us dollar<\/strong>\u00a0(more than 70% of the inputs of the activity listed in dollars), the\u00a0Soy<\/strong>\u00a0(the value of which affects the protein source of the rodeo dairy and, in almost all cases, the payment of the rent of the land in production (for the chilean case we use Wheat <\/strong>in place of soy) and the\u00a0price of milk<\/strong>. Then you will find a graphic with the Evolution of the Index of Costs compiled for ease of comparison, and also a comparison chart with the relative evolution of the producer prices by country. Finally a graph of input\/output showing the pounds of corn that can be purchased with 1 lt of milk in each of the countries, as well as the current values of milk and corn to the producer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Usamos el mes de enero 2025=1 como punto de partida de la evoluci\u00f3n relativa de precios. De los gr\u00e1ficos es de destacar, la estabilidad en costos de alimentaci\u00f3n para todos menos Argentina que con el estancamiento de su precio desde junio 2025 desconfigur\u00f3 la ecuaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de los tambos. Similar escenario presenta Brasil. Es notable el equilibrio uruguayo que tambi\u00e9n observa la curva de precio por la leche sobre la de los insumos. Analizando los precios de FEBRERO 2026<\/strong> observamos que el productor chileno y uruguayo perciben los mejores precios ahora: 0,503 y 0,425 US$\/lt respectivamente seguido de cerca por el brasilero con 0,411 y el argentino en 0,341 US$\/lt. La evoluci\u00f3n de precios relativos argentinos est\u00e1 empa\u00f1ada por un escenario de alta inflaci\u00f3n anual en Argentina que, aunque ha bajado notablemente, sigue alto (32,6%), comparado con Chile (2,8%), Brasil (4,1%) y Uruguay (2,9%) y lo que complica el an\u00e1lisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En los siguientes gr\u00e1ficos observamos una compilaci\u00f3n de los datos generando el \u00cdndice de Costos\/Precio y el \u00cdndice de Precios de la leche en d\u00f3lares. En la primera (evoluci\u00f3n de precios internos para costos referidos al valor local de la leche) podemos observar que los productores argentinos, brasileros y chilenos muestran una curva ascendente en sus costos de producci\u00f3n, aunque Brasil se despega bastante. Luego le sigue Argentina con un notable incremento de sus costos y finalmente Uruguay que presenta la mejor curva con una evoluci\u00f3n de costos relativos descendentes e inferior al resto de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En lo que hace a los costos de alimentaci\u00f3n, que mejoraron en todos los casos, el productor con la mejor relaci\u00f3n Ma\u00edz\/Leche en este momento es el chileno que a pesar del tener el ma\u00edz m\u00e1s caro tiene el mejor precio por su leche y compra 1,94 kg de ma\u00edz por litro de leche. Le siguen el argentino y el brasilero que coinciden en 1,89 kg ma\u00edz\/lt y finalmente el uruguayo ah\u00ed cerquita con 1,85 kg ma\u00edz\/lt. Los c\u00e1lculos corresponden a FEBRERO 2026, mes que contamos los precios de leche al productor en todos los casos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La evoluci\u00f3n relativa de los precios locales en d\u00f3lares muestra que entre la marcada declinaci\u00f3n de Brasil seguido por el de Argentina. Chile se destaca por un rebote mientras Uruguay se mantiene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
