The values that are paid by a vaquillona with pregnancy ahead of the auction of the treasury always generate discussions among dairy farmers. There is a general view very wide for the term “vaquillona pregnant” and it is common to hear a conversation about the topic that mentions the price without considering the genetic quality of the animals in question. Obviously, the willingness to make a purchase of heifers will depend on the production system of the tambo one to have, with what a question pastoral of high load and low production individual don't want to spend much on animals of high genetic value while this would be an essential condition for a free-stall high-producing individual. The average in that period has been 6.000 lt of milk/head with a maximum of 8.450 lt and a minimum of 4.168.
