The month of June closed at a rate that was lower than expected by averaging 26.9 million liters/day, which was a -3.12% lower than the production June 2018 (900.000 lts. less). The average of the last 4 years (2015-2018), the month of June grew +7.15% on may, and this year 2019, with +34% of the price of milk in constant currency grew +6.35%...a slower pace. Possibly this difference is due to a lower number of milking cows. The period Jan/Feb 2019 builds up a -5.8% in volume over the same period in 2018, and introduces some of the questions with respect to the development of the curve in the coming months...possibly lower than expected.
