The production continues to fall...

farm-milk-326681As was expected, and by copying the evolution of post-crisis in 2001, which was mentioned in several previous editions, the 2017 continues the downward trend in milk production at the national level. With data estimated by the Observatory Dairy (www.ocla.org.ar) we set up the chart that accompanies it. The decline in production in the 1st quarter of 2017 compared to the same period in 2016 would be the -14,2%.

Evolución de la producción

The loss tambo constant to be of the order of -7,8%. The difference between -7,8 and -14,2% is due to the output of drums of the industry that is sampled and also to the output of drums of the business so short...unfortunately, none of these data is unknown, and our understanding would be greater the amount of dairy that closed what is estimated officially. Also combine with the disappearance of drums, the slow recovery of the price that compels the drums in activity to work close to the cost of production while dragging a passive for 2 years to do so at a loss...needless to say, the number of dairy farms affected by issues climate.
