Exports of dairy argentine
The year began with a strong recovery in the international prices and in the day of yesterday hit an unexpected jump of +15% in the mix, and +21% for milk powder (LPE), our main dairy exported. In today's markets maintained the values and the future for the next 6 months, make an average of 4.123 US$/ton of LPE.

Argentina closed the year 2020 exporting 25.3% of the national production and, as can be seen in the following chart, surpassed only by 26.1% in 2006.

Raises the question of knowing how much milk can we export?
Analyzing the survey of industries recent (2018) study conducted by MINAGRI (Carlos Berra), we observed that the operational capacity of drying milk is installed is of 14 million liters per day. This calculation takes the maximum capacity of milk processing, evaporation and drying, considering a usage of 20 hours/day and 4 hr/day of cleaning and maintenance. This capacity is reduced if we take that companies do not work from 14 hr of Saturday, up to 24 hr of Sunday, arriving finally to an actual capacity of production of 11 million litres a day...assuming that the packaging capacity is in line with the processing capacity. Doing the accounts Argentina would be in, with a maximum capacity of exporting the 36% of milk produced as milk powder.
