Analyze the price of milk to the producer for its value in dollars, it is necessary to assess the business of export of dairy products to the processing industry and for this reason it uses the same dollar to which you are exporting our dairy. It also will serve to make comparisons with producers in other countries as well as be a reference to project business plan.
In the graph below, we summarize the basis of data from the period 2015-2024 with the values of the milk in constant dollars July 2024 (incorporating the inflation in the usa which experienced unusual growth during the pandemic and post-pandemic). The graph is a histogram of frequency using the bell with the normal distribution of the data and the line with the cumulative frequency of each value is price in dollars. The red dot is the location of the current price (taking the dollar export: to 0.41 US$/lt)
Some observations
(a) The average of the period analyzed is 0,37 constant US$/lt.
b) 75% of the values are located in the range of 0.32 to 0,42 US$/lt.
c) The current value, taking the dollar export 80% Officer + 20% CCL, turns out to be 0,41 US$/lt.
